Maintenance release: Godot 3.4.1

Godot 3.4 was released a month ago, and it went fairly smoothly! Many thanks to all the contributors who worked on it, including all testers who tried beta and RC releases to ensure that the 3.4-stable branch would be an easy and worthwhile upgrade path for all users.

No software release is perfect though, so there will always be some things to iron out, which is why we provide maintenance releases for stable branches, focusing on bugfixing and preserving compatibility (see our release policy). Godot 3.4.1 is the first maintenance release in the 3.4 stable branch, and a recommended upgrade for all Godot 3.4 users.

Read the release blog post for details on the changes.

its horrendously laggy when i try using it like it doesnt even work anymore because of the update. could it be something to do with mono vs standard version?

Are you on macOS? If so that was a regression and it was fixed in 3.4.2 shortly after the 3.4.1 release.

ah, im on windows 10. not sure if thats normal though for a windows 10 system

On Windows 10 that's not a known issue, no.

You say it became laggy after updating? What was the previous version you used, and can you try it again to check if it performs better or now lags too? If it lags too that would indicate a problem with your system and not Godot (maybe GPU drivers broke).

oh!!! i decided to turn off high contrast theme and it works just fine now ^_^ im still warming back up to game development, my bad
